‘Nacht über Bethlehem(Night at Bethlehem)’ by David Cawthorne
David Cawthorne
David Cawthorne is a painter who paints pictures with his mouth.
Sky and earth in dark blue, a brightly-shining star in the night sky, lights shone on the people who are looking at the star... When I looked at the painting, I somehow felt like staying in this mysterious feeling of depth and silence. The vast scene of the night sky filled me with awe. As the shepherds and the magi followed the star in the Bible, isn't our life a journey of following the star that shines above our heads? Each of us has our own stars that lead us in our journeys... Again, looking at the painting, I feel like being lost in a deep thought.
